ABOUT ME

Cory Powers works for a prestigious company in Florida as the Project Manager. Even though he was raised in Cobb County, Georgia, he has made his home on the Gulf Coast in Sarasota, Florida. For this reason, Powers and his family of five children uprooted and settled in the big city.

​

The talented athlete, football aficionado, and Georgia Bulldogs supporter takes pleasure in both playing and watching sports in his free time. In addition, he enjoys going to the gym, fixing furniture, doing things with his family, and being in nature.

​

The Project Manager of operations for South Florida at Jackson and Associates is tasked with a wide range of responsibilities. Among these responsibilities are the creation and management of operational strategies for running the firm as it is run day-to-day. That includes things like managing schedules and communicating with clients.

​

In other areas, Cory S Powers oversees adherence to legal requirements. The Georgian native is an accomplished salesman who frequently contributes to Jackson and Associates's South Florida region. Utilizing his knowledge, he makes sure his team reaches its sales goals and keeps or increases client satisfaction.

​

Cory went to high school in Marietta, Georgia, before moving away from the Atlanta area to attend college. And then, he went to school at Ferris State. Big Rapids, Michigan, is home to Ferris State University's main campus.

​

Helen and Woodbridge Ferris established Ferris State University in 1884 under the name Big Rapids Industrial School. In 1950, it was officially recognized as a state institution, and in 1987, it was given university status. Today, Ferris provides a wide variety of programs designed to provide its pupils with the best possible start in life.

​

Georgia native Powers didn't stop learning after leaving Ferris; he simply shifted his focus and spent his downtime taking increasingly advanced classes. He is extremely skilled in repair and construction, and he loves to teach others what he has learned.

​

Cory Powers excels at management, sales, and operations. He has been honored for his dedication to Jackson and Associates and for keeping the company's commitment to its core family values. Through their shared enthusiasm for athletics, he and his group hope to make the world a better place for everyone.

​

In addition, he can provide complete, out-of-the-box answers for a wide variety of business needs. You'll need a keen sense of design and a solid understanding of manufacturing principles to pull this off.

​

Powers devotes considerable time and energy to a wide range of worthwhile causes. This encompasses efforts all around the United States, such as those in Georgia and Florida. The Epilepsy Foundation of America, Heifer International, the Easterseals Community, Disability Services, and the Folds of Honor Foundation are all deserving organizations.

​

Powers recently became engaged with the Folds of Honor Foundation, which awards scholarships to the families of those who have served in the armed forces or in the first responder professions. Folds of Honor, founded in 2007, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the families of disabled and fallen service members and first responders.


Cory S Powers is also pleased to have donated his time to Easterseals Community and Disability Services, a 501(c)(3) organization. He frequently helps out with the organization's Respite Program for Working Parents. Easterseals is a leading voice in the fight for inclusive education and community-based support services for people with disabilities.

​

The Heifer International Powers organization is a consistent financial supporter of the organization. The goal of Heifer International, a nonprofit development organization, is to end world hunger and poverty. It does this by promoting global holistic community development that is both long-term and based on strong moral principles. That's on top of supplying cattle and education to poor areas.

​

Powers, a Florida company, also consistently gives to the Epilepsy Foundation of America. The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation of America (EFA) is to be the undisputed leader in the fight against epilepsy and its associated difficulties. The organization is also dedicated to speeding up therapies and other treatments meant to reduce the occurrence of seizures and save lives, all in the name of ultimately finding a cure for the ailment.

Over the past 18 years, Cory Powers' marriage has flourished. Their children range in age from six to sixteen; he and his wife have four daughters and a son. In June of 2022, the family uprooted and relocated to Sarasota, Florida, to be nearer to extended family. Their family, including Powers' two brothers and his in-laws, are all happy and settled in the city, which is located on Florida's Gulf Coast south of Tampa.

​

Powers has many interests outside of his professional career and persistent philanthropic endeavors. Sports, trips, and physical activity are just a few examples. He excels in sports, and he and his family are avid fans and participants in many different competitions. Basketball, football, club volleyball, and soccer are just a few of the sports included here.

​

Powers has always cheered for the University of Georgia's football team, the Bulldogs. He is an avid fan of the Southeastern Conference, Eastern Division, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Football Bowl Subdivision. He has a passion for craftsmanship, and he enjoys making and fixing various things like furniture and other stuff.

​

Cory S Powers likes to go for walks and spend time outside, especially on the long stretches of pristine sand that Sarasota is known for. Lido Beach and Siesta Key Beach are particularly well-known for their fine, white sand and calm, shallow waves.
